The core team behind Shiba Inu and the development team of the Shiberse (Shiba Inu Metaverse) revealed some spicy news about their work on the 25th of October. Aside from the fact that we now know the official website for all things Shiberse, the developers behind the project did not release a lot of new info.
- Shiba Inu Metaverse team releases updates on Dune biome concept art
- The project teams up with The Third Floor studio, popular for working on Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Spider-man: Homecoming, and many more.
- More news coming soon
For now, what we know about the Shiberse is that you can already buy and lock in land on the aforementioned website. In total, there are 100,000 virtual land plots. Additionally, the team describes the project as an “immersive experience that will allow users to explore, benefit, and interact with a Shiba Inu Universe like no other.”
The end goal is to create a space where all Shiba Inu community members can interact, have fun, and connect with each other. The team behind the project reinforces this statement by saying – “Our mission is to introduce a unique, fun, and exciting way to have users earn passive income, gather in game-resources, generate rewards, and even allow them to have a personal space in which they will be able to build and manage their own projects.”

Major Shiba Inu Metaverse Update
Earlier this month, on the 4th of October, the official Shiba Inu Metaverse account revealed the first concept art inspired by the “Badlands”.
On the 25th of October, the team revealed a new teaser in the form of concept art once again. Similar to the Badlands, the Shiba Inu Metaverse will have a Dune biome.
Apparently, the team behind the Shiba Inu Metaverse project has decided to partner with The Third Floor studio, which is popular for having worked on Star Wars Episode III. The studio has also worked on Spider-man: Homecoming, Black Widow, Wonder Woman, Mad Max, and many other triple-A Hollywood productions.
By listening to the audience about immersive environment input, the collaboration hopes to push the limits of immersive settings and give guidance as to how SHIB should be portrayed.
What The Concept Art Shows & Why It Is Important
The concept image for the Dunes hub depicts an area full of oases and sand mounds in a metaverse that is either reserved for purchasers or will be made available for free at launch. These provide one a sense of security in the dunes and a sensation of remaining in a shelter after overcoming an obstacle. They have a rather modern appearance, resembling largely glittering skyscrapers.

Concept art is important because it makes the most of the visual representation process, which expresses an atmosphere or transmits a certain appearance. utilized frequently in movies and video games to provide a predetermined picture and mood that encourages a strong connection to the environment. The strongest reference points for coordinating the creative approach and aspect of the project, or in this case, the HUB launch, are provided by concept art.
When looking at the concept art, the team wants you to imagine yourself gazing at sand mounds created by wind, experiencing heat, smooth sand particles inviting additional sand mounds from a close distance, and possibly sensing protected spaces hidden behind an obstruction. When you look beyond, you see what appears to be an oasis, but this oasis is unlike any other; it is large, formed, and welcomes a daring and contemporary location with glittery buildings and cold waterways.
Open the concept art and you will see preliminary black-and-white sketches that provide ideas and criticism to clarify precisely how this HUB will function in the Shiberse. Especially in abstract painting, black and white drawings and concept art have a strong, physical, forceful potential. Among the various sources of architectural inspiration are the following:
- Great Sand Dune National Park (Colorado, United States)
- Pyramids (Egypt)
- Dubai (United Arab Emirates)
- Sossusvlei Park (Namibia, Africa)
- Sahara Desert (Africa)
